Dairy Cottages, Wimborne were destroyed by Fire in 2023 which resulted in a loss of nearly all of the building fabric. The remnants were simply the masonry walls and the precarious chimney breasts.
The work to restore the buildings commenced in 2025 with Spetisbury Construction Limited working with Wellington King Chartered Surveyors.
The project planning has had to resolve various challenges that are evident, not least the structural stability whilst works are underway. The temporary support will allow a variety of structural repairs to be implemented followed by completion with a thatched roof.
The commissioning of works on dairy cottages is the latest in a long line of conservation and restoration projects carried out by Spetisbury Construction.
