Spetisbury Construction have been employed by the National Trust on many occasions to maintain or restore their properties. The most recent example is the complete restoration of this local cottage in Shapwick.
The following techniques were used in the restoration process:
• Repairs to existing oak frame
• Thatch roof
• Hemcrete mortar used to form infill panels to oak frame
• Limecrete floors
• Lime plaster to walls and ceilings
