This project involved us undertaking a phased refurbishment to 10 science laboratories and the PE area at Mountbatten School. This was carried out over a period of 10 months with the majority of the works being carried out in term time. Careful segregation of the work area was very important and was strictly monitored by our Site Management Team.

Before the commencement of each phase a R&D Asbestos survey was carried out which highlighted that additional asbestos was present. This caused delays to the programme as the removal works had to be scheduled in during weekends as it was not permitted to carry out removals during school time.
