Seaspray, Isle of Purbeck

The work completed on this traditional stone cottage, consisted of a complete refurbishment inside and out, as well as construction of an extension to make it suitable for modern day living.

The scheme employed many traditional crafts such as stonework and joinery to sympathetically restore the fabric of the building. Modern techniques were also employed to bring the building into the 21st century. These are best highlighted by the use of curved glass roofing to the extended area.

The completed project demonstrates the effective use of a diverse range of skills from traditional through to modern techniques.
