Former history teacher and local author Alan Bennett has recently completed and published his latest book; “Wimborne Minster – Portrait of a Town”. With over 350 pages of fascinating content, coupled with numerous pictures, anecdotes and the author’s own wry observations of life in Wimborne – it is a superb book.

Included in the book, Alan writes a section about our beautiful Wimborne office, the building and our team; the book gives the reader a taste of the history of this wonderful building.

You can buy this book at Gulliver’s Bookshop in Wimborne. Alan has arranged that for each book that is sold, £5 will be shared between The Friends of Victoria Hospital, Wimborne and the Wimborne Dementia Friendly Community.
